Family in the Upper Room

UpperRoom Intl was born from a simple desire: to live like the believers in the book of Acts who gathered in the upper room, waiting together for the promise of the Father. In Acts 1–2, 120 men and women met in one place, with one heart, until the fire of God fell. The Holy Spirit was poured out, languages were loosed, and the Gospel began to run to the nations. That moment of unity, hunger, and power is the blueprint for everything we do.

We believe the “upper room” is not just a story from history, but a pattern for this generation. UpperRoom Intl is a family of worshipers, intercessors, and everyday believers who have said “yes” to building upper rooms in our homes, cities, and nations, places where Jesus is loved first, the Holy Spirit is welcome, and people are transformed by the presence of God.

As we gather, we make room for the same Holy Spirit who filled that first upper room, to convict, to comfort, to heal, to deliver, and to send. We pursue deep unity across ages, backgrounds, and callings, honoring one another, championing emerging voices, and learning to love the way Jesus loves His Church.

From prayer meetings and worship nights to outreaches, media, and our revival apparel, everything we do is about exalting Jesus and carrying His presence into everyday life, classrooms, workplaces, neighborhoods, and nations.
